Job summary

Walmart Canada in Portage la Prairie, MB is hiring a Stock Unloader Associate to unload trailers, process merchandise, and move pallets to the sales floor while keeping a safe, clean workspace. You will support a positive customer experience with efficient restocking and friendly service in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires physical work, the ability to work a variety of shifts, and a minimum age of 16.

Qualifications

• Age – 16 or older

Responsibilities

• Receiving and Unloading Merchandise
• Prepares and resets the Receiving Area and unloads general merchandise trailers, including completing live unloading of remaining merchandise.
• Handle and Move Merchandise Safely
• Maintains cold chain standards for refrigerated and frozen products and pulls pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing.
• Stocking and Customer Support
• Assists with stocking the sales floor as assigned and provides customer service when needed to support a positive shopping experience.
• Overstock Organization
• Labels and places overstock merchandise in designated areas to support efficient inventory management.
• Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Environment
• Follows Company policies and procedures to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard free workplace, including completing safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
