Job summary

Career Junction in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan is seeking a retail associate to help customers, stock shelves, and process transactions. You will assist shoppers, bag purchases, and maintain organized stock areas in a fast-paced store.

The role involves standing for long periods, lifting light to moderate loads, and teamwork to ensure smooth daily operations. Experience in retail or customer service is preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and basic cashier duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with purchases and direct them to products.
• Stock shelves, unpack shipments, and maintain stockroom organization.

Tasks

• Bag, box or parcel purchases for customers, for shipment or delivery.
• Carry customer's purchases to parking lot and pack orders in customers' vehicles.
• Obtain articles for customers from shelf or stockroom.
• Direct customers to location of articles sought.
• Unpack products received by store and count, weigh or sort items.
• Maintain computerized stock inventory.
• Record incoming stock.
• Stock shelves and display areas.
• Keep stock clean and in order.
• Price items using stamp or stickers according to price list.
• Fill mail or electronic orders from warehouse stock.
• Perform general cleaning duties (i.e. sweeping, mopping floors).
• Process electronic transactions using computer equipment.
• Operate cash register.
• Provide customer service.
