Job summary

MAXI in Amos, QC is seeking an on-site Retail Associate to assist customers, stock shelves, operate the cash register, and help with order picking. You will contribute to a fast-paced store environment and ensure accurate handling of stock and customer requests.

The role emphasizes reliability, strong organizational skills, and a friendly, service-oriented attitude. No degree is required, and experience is considered an asset.

Qualifications

• No degree required; education not specified beyond general expectations.
• French language used on site; ability to communicate with customers in French.
• On-site work in Amos, QC with no remote option.
• Customer service and stock management experience considered an asset.

• Bag, box or parcel purchases for customers, for shipment or delivery
• Obtain articles for customers from shelf or stockroom
• Direct customers to location of articles sought
• Unpack products received by store and count, weigh or sort items
• Maintain computerized stock inventory
• Record incoming stock
• Stock shelves and display areas
• Keep stock clean and in order
• Price items using stamp or stickers according to price list
• Attach protective devices to products to protect against shoplifting
• Fill mail or electronic orders from warehouse stock
