Job description

EQ3 is an imaginative leader in the creative design of furniture and home accessories. We are looking for an extraordinary individual to be part of our dynamic retail team as a Stock Associate. This is a part-time position at our Ottawa Location, Ontario. The Stock Associate will provide exceptional and professional customer service to EQ3 customers to ensure customer satisfaction and increase EQ3 sales.

THE SKILLS YOU’LL NEED:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail environment
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Self-motivated, able to work well with little or no supervision, and a strong positive attitude
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Good Customer Service skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to lift 150 lbs+ with weekend availability

MORE ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Assist with loading/unloading product from delivery trucks
• Assist with inventory checks against packing slips upon delivery
• Work for long periods moving and lifting stock to maintain an organized stockroom environment
• Collaborate with the Visual Coordinator to implement visual standards (displays, signage, room groupings)
• Stock shelves in the store
• Monitor stock levels and notify management and Visual team; inspect display models for damages and incoming quality
• Adhere to workplace safety initiatives
• Print price tags and tag merchandise upon arrival, prior to stocking
• Build and maintain positive relationships with store management, visuals, delivery personnel, and staff
• Assist with customer pickups
