New Westminster Surgical Centre, part of Clearpoint Health Network, is hiring a Registered Nurse - Medical Device Reprocessing Technician on a 0.5 FTE basis. The MDR technician will clean, disassemble, reassemble, and sterilize surgical supplies and devices in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must complete an accredited MDR program and hold CMDRT or IAHCSMM certification, with fluency in English. 3 positions available with wage of $25–$30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Device Reprocessing program.
• CSA Certification for CMDRT or IAHCSMM Certification for Certified Registered Central Service Technicians is required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.

Responsabilités

• Collect, disassemble, clean, disinfect, assemble, test and sterilize reusable medical devices.
• Operate and maintain reprocessing equipment.
• Assemble and provide reusable device sets for surgical procedures.
• Monitor inventory, replenish supplies and rotate stock.
• Clean and disinfect work areas and ensure supplies are well stocked.
