Job summary

Birch Mountain Enterprises LP is seeking Steamer Labourers for approximately 2 month temporary positions at Fort McKay, Alberta. The role involves servicing washbay and wash ramp equipment, steam cleaning of equipment, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Candidates should be physically fit and have a valid Class 5 license with a clean driving record. Preference given to local candidates; CSTS/OSSA certification is required and pre-employment screening must be passed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class 5 operator’s license (non GLD) with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Able to speak, read, and write in English.
• CSTS and OSSA, BSO, or CSO Certification.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Proper use of PPE while performing daily duties.
• Complete daily documentation, including field-level hazard assessments and inspections.
• Execute daily work instructions from supervision, dispatch, or management.
• Complete daily housekeeping to maintain company image and safety.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area; attend safety meetings as scheduled.
• Clear work areas of debris and hazardous materials and assist in waste disposal.
