Orla Mining is striving to be the emerging gold producer of choice with a geographically diversified asset base, a prospective development and exploration portfolio, an experienced management team with a successful track record, and a high-quality board and shareholder base.

Orla operates the Camino Rojo Oxide Gold Mine, a gold and silver open-pit heap leach mine, located in Zacatecas State, Central Mexico. This low-cost operation is 100% owned by Orla, covers over 139,000 hectares, and includes a large sulphide mineral endowment located beneath the oxide resources. We are also advancing permitting and development on our South Railroad Project, a feasibility-stage, open-pit heap leach project located on the prolific Carlin trend in Nevada. This project is part of our larger South Carlin Complex which includes a prospective land package. We recently acquired the Musselwhite Mine located in Northern Ontario on Lake Opapimiskan, a gold mine with more than 25 years of operating history. The addition of Musselwhite has allowed Orla to more than double our gold production and provide a strategic entry into a Tier 1 mining jurisdiction. The Musselwhite Mine is highly prospective with potential to expand resources and mine life for years to come.

Purpose:
As part of our acquisition of Musselwhite Mine, we are recruiting a Stationary Maintenance Planer to join our team at Musselwhite Mine. This is an onsite role and will be responsible for the planning of immediate and scheduled shut down projects for the stationary maintenance team. This position is essential to support the Maintenance Operations department and will report to the Planning & Reliability Superintendent.

Responsibilities include:

1. Develop weekly maintenance schedule and maintain a 6-week rolling maintenance schedule.
2. Review equipment PM inspections and frequencies to determine effectiveness, update as required.
3. Engage craft, vendors, technical support services, and management in the planning process.
4. Ensure safety precautions are included in each planned work order.
5. Utilize component tracking and equipment delay data to identify trends and forecasts for future work.
6. Work closely with Materials to manage maintenance inventory.
7. Ensure that all non-immediate maintenance work identified is thoroughly planned in accordance with site maintenance process standards prior to scheduling for execution.
8. Develop job plans from work requests, operator inspections, PM inspections, and PdM activities that follow the planning criteria, established by the Maintenance Management Team, to maximize craft efficiency, minimize equipment downtime, and ensure improvement at every opportunity.
9. Ensure all materials are available, kitted, and pre-staged for scheduling.
10. Remain and continue to practice workplace procedures and workplace protocols.
11. Speak up for health and safety, identify, report and address risks.
12. Report to work physically fit.
13. Follow all procedures related to environmental sustainability.
14. Perform other related functions as assigned by supervisor.

Skills and Experience:

1. Completion of a college diploma or degree in a related discipline.
2. Certified journeyman with 5 years of experience in lieu of degree.
3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, written, and listening skills.
4. A high level of organizational skills, confidence, and decision-making abilities.
5. Ability to perform in a self-directed, fast-paced, team environment.
6. High degree of computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Projects, SAP) an asset.
7. A thorough understanding of Maintenance management.

Working Conditions:
The work schedule for this position is 14 on, 14 days off including travel to site, working 12-hour days.
