Job summary

Intelcom Courrier Canada INC is seeking an experienced Station Director to drive overall operational performance for a high-volume facility in Canada. You will balance safety, quality, productivity, costs, and customer experience while developing the management team and delivering strong results.

You will lead capacity planning, budget management, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring execution during peak periods and close collaboration with delivery partners and regional teams.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience managing operations in logistics, transportation, distribution, warehousing, or similar high-volume environments.
  • Proven track record leading large teams and developing managers or supervisors.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with focus on critical business needs.
  • Strong experience managing KPIs, budgets, productivity, and operational performance.
  • Hands-on leader who stays close to operations and employees.

  • Manage the station budget, controllable margin, and key cost drivers.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the management team and operational teams.
  • Foster a culture of accountability where expectations, standards, and results are clearly defined.
  • Work closely with delivery partners to ensure performance and continuously improve service quality.
  • Anticipate operational risks, manage unexpected situations, and make timely decisions when required.
  • Collaborate with regional teams and support functions to resolve issues and implement best practices.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing operational capacity, productivity, and quality.
  • Prepare the station for peak periods and ensure strong execution during high-volume operations.

Your Role:

At the Heart of the Chain. Your Role As a Station Director, you are responsible for the overall performance of your operation. You ensure the right balance between safety, quality, productivity, costs, customer experience, and team development, while maintaining a high level of execution every day. You do not simply monitor results; you drive them. You identify performance gaps and implement the necessary actions to continuously improve operational performance.
