Job summary

Scarlet Security & Risk Group (SSRG) is seeking a professional Static Security Guard to protect people, property and assets while delivering exceptional customer service in a secure environment.

The role emphasizes on-site security, reporting, and adherence to client policies, with preference for Maple Ridge residents and the possibility of professional growth within a trusted security firm.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Security License is required.
• Experience in security is preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and complete routine patrols.
• Excellent customer service and professional deportment.
• Strong commitment to safety and security.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Additional certifications (AST, OFA 1–3, etc.) are assets.
• Preference given to Maple Ridge residents.
• Experience in mall/shopping center security is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client requests and onsite emergencies.
• Provide face-to-face customer service to clients, the public, and building occupants.
• Ensure the security of all personnel, visitors, and the public.
• Inspect and patrol premises.
• Monitor property access and closures.
• Investigate and report suspicious behavior, incidents, and breaches.
• Enforce client policies and procedures.
• Communicate with law enforcement, EMS, and fire departments.
• Respond to alarms.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Static Security Guard, you will play an important role in protecting people, property, and assets while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Responding to client requests and onsite emergencies
• Face-to-face customer service to clients, public, and those working inside the building
• Ensuring the security of all personnel, visitors, and the public
• Inspecting & patrolling premises
• Monitoring property access
• Investigating and reporting suspicious behavior, incidents, and security breaches
• Enforcing client informed policies
• Communicating with law enforcement, emergency medical personnel, and fire departments
• Responding to alarms
• Other duties to be completed as assigned

Schedule

• Monday - Friday: 11:00 am - 07:15 pm

Requirements
