Job summary

Scarlet Security & Risk Group (SSRG) seeks an experienced Senior Account Executive to lead the Systems Integration sales cycle from Burnaby and across British Columbia. The role focuses on new business growth, client relationship building, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver integrated security solutions.

You will conduct site visits, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts while traveling regionally.

Qualifications

  • B2B sales experience in security or building tech.
  • Knowledge of access control, CCTV, intercom, and alarm systems.
  • Ability to prospect, qualify leads, manage a sales pipeline, and close multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • English fluency, with professional written/verbal skills.
  • Post-secondary education in business or technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel across British Columbia.
  • Experience with CRM systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Drive net-new business growth for SSRG's Systems Integration division in Vancouver and BC.
  • Identify, qualify, and close opportunities for access control, CCTV, intercom, and related security solutions.
  • Lead discovery meetings and site visits to assess client needs, risks, budgets, timelines, and decision-makers.
  • Develop relationships with owners, consultants, contractors, facility leaders, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with estimating, engineering, project management, and operations to build scopes, proposals, budgets, and plans.
  • Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to proposal, negotiation, close, and handoff to operations.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while protecting margin and cash flow.
  • Maintain strong CRM pipeline with forecasts and next steps.
  • Track market trends, competitor and construction activity for growth opportunities.
  • Represent SSRG professionally at client meetings and events.

Scarlet Security & Risk Group (SSRG) is seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to join our growing Systems Integration team in British Columbia.

This full-time role is based out of our Burnaby office and includes regular client meetings and site visits throughout British Columbia. Responsibilities include developing new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, preparing proposals, conducting site visits, negotiating contracts, coordinating with internal teams, maintaining client relationships, and providing accurate forecasting and reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Drive net-new business growth for SSRG's Systems Integration division in Vancouver and across BC, as required.
  • Identify, qualify, and close opportunities for access control, CCTV, intrusion, intercom, monitoring, and other integrated security solutions.
  • Lead discovery meetings and site visits to understand client needs, risks, budgets, timelines, and decision-makers.
  • Develop strong relationships with owners, consultants, general contractors, electrical contractors, facility leaders, and key stakeholders.
  • Work with estimating, engineering, project management, and operations to build accurate scopes, proposals, budgets, and project plans.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to proposal, negotiation, close, and handoff to operations.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, payment milestones, and contract requirements while protecting margin and cash flow.
  • Review scope, terms, risks, and delivery requirements before project handoff.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline with accurate CRM updates, forecasts, next steps, and close dates.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, construction activity, and new growth opportunities.
  • Represent SSRG professionally at client meetings, networking events, trade shows, and industry associations.
Requirements
  • B2B sales experience within security systems, low-voltage, building technologies, or systems integration; experience in integrated security and/or low-voltage is preferred.
  • Understanding of card access, CCTV, intercom, and alarm systems, including typical components, integration requirements, and solution design, is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify leads, build and manage a sales pipeline, and close complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Post-secondary education in business, technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and CRM platforms.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Ability to travel throughout British Columbia as required.
  • Strong team-oriented approach and professional attitude.
