Job summary

AFIMAC is seeking security personnel in Cambridge, Ontario for access control and perimeter checks. The role includes 12-hour day and night shifts, five to seven days a week, with weekend-only shifts available, on-site at client locations.

Salary is $20.00 per hour before overtime on a six-week contract with potential extension. A valid Ontario security guard license, Canadian work eligibility, and strong report writing skills are required.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid security guard license in Ontario.
• Previous access control experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Able to travel to Cambridge and be on-site for all shifts.
• Flexibility to cover additional shifts when required.
• Able to work 5–7 days per week: 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Weekend-only shift available (12-hour shifts).
• Able to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Canadian resident and legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Experience dealing with confrontational situations and de-escalation.
• Excellent report writing skills.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

To be eligible to work for AFIMAC you must meet the following criteria:

• Possess a valid security guard license in the province of Ontario
