SSP Canada at Edmonton International Airport is seeking a Starbucks Shift Supervisor. This role focuses on leading a shift, upholding service standards, and coaching the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced travel environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of management experience in food & beverage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

At SSP Canada, our Shift Supervisors are the first step into management. Shift Supervisors have the very important position of ensuring our standards are consistently achieved by our team of Food Travel Experts. They work to provide the best customer service to our guests and exemplify our Passion Principles.

SSP Canada operates multiple restaurants inside the Edmonton International Airport, including: The Canadian Brewhouse, Belgian Beer Cafe, Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Boston Pizza, Tap & Pour, & Upper Crust.

Our Shift Supervisors are experts at a few things:

• Understand that our guest is our # 1 priority.


• Ensure that all products and merchandising brand standards are adhered to.


• Leading a shift to ensure all operational standards are met or exceeded.


• Maintain brand operational standards and ensure that restaurant checklists and cleaning schedules arecompleted on a daily basis.


• Communicate and clarify major job duties, priorities, and expectations to team members and provide continuouscoaching and constructive feedback in a timely manner, through verbal and written documentation.


• Provide support, direction, and encouragement in helping the team succeed in delivering business goals.


• Assist team members in developing the skills and abilities necessary for improved performance.


• Ensure that products are of the highest quality.


• Responsiblefor overseeing cash duties.
