Job summary

Compass Group Canada is hiring at a fast-paced beverage stand in Kamloops. You will manage daily stand operations, supervise servers, support staff and bartenders, and mentor a small team, while ensuring guest inquiries are answered promptly and safety standards are followed.

ProServe certification is required; evening and weekend availability is essential. We offer competitive hourly pay of CAD 19 per hour, comprehensive health benefits, and opportunities for growth within a global food service

  • Stand management with daily inventory counts.
  • Oversee daily operations and supervise servers, support staff, bartenders.
  • Lead, train, coach, and mentor a small team.
  • Answer guest inquiries and address concerns promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with Compass Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Programs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized stand.
  • Adhere to uniform standards and job specific standard operating procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Qualifications, Skills And Abilities
  • Actively demonstrate teamwork, safe work practices, open communication, accuracy in transactions, respect, sincerity, helpfulness, and courtesy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong desire and ability to delight and accommodate guests
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to work in high pressure situations and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • ProServe certification required
  • Spirits and/or Wine service education would be an asset
  • Evening and weekend availability required

The hourly wage rate for this position is $19. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation.
