You will drive cost reduction, die life optimization, and cross‑functional collaboration with TRAM, Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Program Teams to deliver high‑quality tooling solutions. The role requires a Mechanical Engineering background, 3–5 years in stamping tooling design and manufacturing, and strong CAD/forming simulation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in design/manufacturing of complex stamping tooling.
• Strong CAD/forming simulation knowledge and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tooling supplier APQP activities including die design reviews and build timelines.
• Collaborate with TRAM, Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Program Teams for supplier selection and sourcing.
• Lead evaluation and performance assessment of stamping tool vendors to ensure capability and sustainment.
• Develop and maintain RFQ packages for stamping tooling requirements and die refurbishments.
• Support supplier die tryouts and ensure tooling readiness before first-article approval.
