Job summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited is seeking a Stage/Audio Technician to operate and assist in live audio setups for in-house and touring events. You will manage front-of-house and stage audio, ensure sound quality, and support visiting crews with equipment and safety.

Applicants should have 5–10 years in live entertainment audio, knowledge of wireless systems, and the ability to train stagehands. Extended health, dental, pension, and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years' experience in live entertainment operating Digital and Analogue Audio Consoles.
• 5–10 years' experience as an Audio Engineer for Stage Monitors and FOH in major productions or large venues.
• Knowledge of Wireless Audio systems and controller software.
• Ability to act as venue Stage Monitor or FOH Audio Engineer for live events.

Responsibilities

• Assist incoming artist crews with setup and operation of audio equipment on Stage or Front of House.
• Set up live event stages: risers, backline, mics and cabling.
• Operate the audio console, manage volume and sound quality.
• Supervise stagehands and coordinate event preparation with outside labour.
• Assist with training stagehands on audio tasks.
