Interior Health Authority in Penticton is seeking a Relief part-time Staffing Services Scheduling Clerk to join our team. The in-office role supports staffing operations and ensures high‑quality care through effective scheduling and workforce coordination.

The position offers rotating shifts and plays a key role in coordinating vacancy coverage and timekeeping. This is a valued part-time entry into our staffing services team within a major regional hospital.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes requests for vacancy coverage to ensure staff baselines.
• Allocates and calls in relief staff to fill vacancies.
• Receives and processes on-staff, payroll removal notices and change notices.
• Reviews and audits timekeeping records.
• Reviewing, calculating and editing on call and call back hours.
• Data entry.
• Reception and clerical duties.

Job description

Penticton Regional Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Relief part-time Staffing Services Scheduling Clerk to join their team in Penticton, B.C.

This is an in-office position that plays a key role in supporting staffing operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services through effective scheduling and workforce coordination.

This position works rotating days, evenings 05:00 to 10:00, 05:00 to 13:00, 13:00 to 18:00, 15:30 to 23:30.

Position end date: Return of Incumbent.
