Job summary

BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS OF SASKATOON Regina is seeking a Before and Afterschool Program Staff Supervisor for the 2026-2027 school year. The Staff Supervisor must be available by emergency cell phone between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

and may step into program operations when needed. Responsibilities include leading staff, supporting program planning and evaluation, and ensuring safety and policy compliance across sites.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of leadership/ supervisory or program coordination experience with children/youth.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
  • Valid HIGH FIVE PHCD certification or willingness to obtain.
  • CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check clearance.

  • Lead and support Program Leaders and volunteers in delivering safe, inclusive, high-quality programs
  • Support program planning, delivery, and evaluation aligned with BGC Saskatoon standards
  • Monitor program quality, provide staff support, and ensure policy and safety compliance
  • Collaborate on initiatives that enhance participant experiences and positive environments
  • Build relationships with schools, families, community partners, and internal teams
  • Assist with scheduling, reporting, payroll support, supplies, and special programs

BGC Regina is seeking a Before and Afterschool Program Staff Supervisor for the 2026-2027 school year.
This position works up to 30 hours per week. The Staff Supervisor must be available by emergency cell phone between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. and may be required to step into program operations when needed.
This position is not eligible for the BGC Saskatoon employee benefits program.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Program Leaders and volunteers in delivering safe, inclusive, high-quality programs
  • Support program planning, delivery, and evaluation aligned with BGC Saskatoon standards
  • Monitor program quality, provide staff support, and ensure policy and safety compliance
  • Collaborate on initiatives that enhance participant experiences and positive environments
  • Build relationships with schools, families, community partners, and internal teams
  • Assist with scheduling, reporting, payroll support, supplies, and special programs

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of experience working with children/youth in a leadership, supervisory, or program coordination role
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently & manage priorities
  • HIGH FIVE PHCD, or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • Valid CPR/First Aid
  • Successful Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check

Regular travel between program locations is required. Applicants must have a valid SK Class 5 license, reliable vehicle, and maintain proof of license and insurance. Mileage reimbursement is provided for work-related travel.

Staff Supervisors do not transport program participants at any time.
