Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead strategic initiatives across Identity and Security, shaping authentication, authorization, and access controls for Atlas, core DB, and developer platforms.

You will drive workload identity federation, zero-trust passwordless concepts, and MCP integrations, collaborating with engineering, UX, GTM, and customers to deliver enterprise-grade identity experiences.

Qualifications

8+ years in Product Management, Security Architecture, or Tech Leadership focused on IAM, Cloud Security, or Enterprise Infrastructure.
Experience influencing senior stakeholders and guiding through ambiguity without direct authority.
Deep domain knowledge in authentication, authorization, federation protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM).

Responsibilities

Set and champion a multi-year product strategy for identity across MongoDB Atlas, core DB engine, and developer platforms.
Identify cross-cutting opportunities, build business cases, and present to senior stakeholders.
Lead workload identity federation and programmatic access initiatives across cloud environments.
Define secure authorization for AI agents and MCP clients, including delegation and lifecycle management.
Drive developer-first access management while preserving security and developer velocity.
Collaborate with engineering, design, GTM, and customers to validate requirements and measure adoption.
Stay ahead of cloud security paradigms and AI access patterns to guide leadership decisions.
