Burq is hiring a Staff ML/OR engineer to define the intelligence at the core of Dispatch OS. You will own the architecture for ML and optimization, steer the roadmap, and build high‑leverage models that impact revenue and delivery reliability.

You will lead hardest problems, collaborate across Engineering and Data, and set production ML standards while delivering scalable, auditable solutions in a fully remote global team.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in applied ML or ML engineering with production deployments.
• Led complex ML/optimization initiatives across teams.
• Experience with ML model serving and evaluation.
• Proven impact on revenue, margin, or operations.
• Strong problem solving and numerical reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Own ML/OR roadmap for Dispatch OS and select modeling approaches.
• Design end‑to‑end model serving and optimization architecture.
• Tackle high-stakes problems from framing to production.
• Mentor engineers and raise ML production standards.
• Collaborate with Product and leadership to shape strategy.
