Job summary

Pursuit is hiring a Staff Housing Attendant in Jasper, Alberta to maintain clean, welcoming housing for our team members. Reporting to the Housing Manager, you will conduct inspections, assist with maintenance, and support capital projects to enhance staff housing.

The role is full-time and year-round with a starting wage of $24.00/hour. Ideal candidates have at least one year of housekeeping or maintenance experience, a valid Alberta driver’s license, strong English communication, and the

Qualifications

• At least one year of housekeeping or maintenance experience.
• A valid Alberta driver's license.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Able to lift to 20lbs (often) up to 100lbs (occasionally).

Responsibilities

• Complete room inspections after move-outs to ensure cleanliness.
• Complete basic repairs and attend to maintenance requests.
• Conduct deep cleaning tasks and project work such as painting, coordinating furniture moves, and troubleshooting appliances.
• Snow removal and lawn care.
• Support the Housing Manager with capital projects and staff housing improvements.
• Assist the housing team with bi-monthly inspections.
• Clean and prepare any rooms that do not meet established standards for move-ins.
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
• Clean public areas as required (such as kitchens and bathrooms).
• Arrange for monthly common area clear-outs.
• Meet and greet new team members as instructed by the housing team.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Participate in after-hours Housing Department on-call rotation.
• Other duties as assigned
