Job summary

Pursuit is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor for the Columbia Icefield/Jasper area. This on-site, seasonal role includes on-site housing and three meals per day, with wages starting at $21.50/hour and potential to $27.50/hour.

The role covers cleaning, grounds maintenance, safety compliance, garbage/recycling, and basic landscaping, with occasional peak-time bussing and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Work ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key.
• Safety First and high cleaning standards are required.
• Must be excited to work in a remote environment.
• Ability to lift loads up to 50 pounds as necessary.
• Grooming and appearance standards must be met.
• Criminal record check required.
• First aid knowledge is a plus.
• Starting wage is $21.50/hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a positive attitude and safety-first approach
• Perform cleaning duties for guest and team areas including staff accommodations
• Clean floors, washrooms, outdoor areas, windows, and daily tasks
• Maintain cleaning checklists and inventories
• Manage garbage and recycling with proper sorting
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and organized
• Adhere to WHMIS and safety requirements
• Maintain grounds and outdoor areas during the day
• Daily rounds of outdoor garbage bins and refuse disposal
• Some landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and raking
• Bussing tables during peak cafeteria hours
• Other duties as assigned
