Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Staff Product Manager to own the end-to-end deposits product, drive regulatory readiness, and coordinate with legal, risk, and bank leadership. You’ll lead cross-functional teams across engineering, marketing, and design to scale deposits and align with credit products.

The role demands 6+ years in product management, experience with regulated fintechs, and strong technical fluency. Remote-first with flexible in-person options, base pay Canada range is provided in the posting.

Qualifications

6+ years of product management experience and independent leadership on complex initiatives.
Experience launching regulated consumer fintech products with GTM strategy.
Proven program leadership across multiple stakeholders and leadership exposure.
Strong technical fluency, comfortable with system design, data models, APIs, and banking integrations.
Exceptional written and verbal communication for regulators, executives, and engineering teams.
Proficiency with AI-assisted tools to accelerate work and quality.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end deposits product roadmap and regulatory readiness.
Lead cross-functional efforts with Engineering, Marketing, Branding, Content, and Design.
Define go-to-market and consumer messaging for the deposit product.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to align on launch vision.
Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Bank leadership on operations readiness.
Communicate strategy and tradeoffs to senior leadership and the Bank Board.
