Vancouver Whitecaps FC is seeking a Staff Accountant to coordinate daily finance and accounting operations. The role involves compliance oversight, financial reporting, budgeting support, and enhancing process improvements. Candidates should possess accounting qualifications and have a proven track record in finance, with excellent interpersonal skills.
The Staff Accountant is responsible for coordinating all Finance and Accounting daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, applicable standards, and legislation. This includes financial reporting, banking, reconciliations, AP/AR processes, and assist with overseeing all aspects of the Club’s financial operations. The role will also involve supporting budgeting and forecasting, developing financial analysis, and leading process improvements.
