Job Title: Accounting Specialist (Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable)

Location: Fully Remote – Candidates must reside in BC’s Lower Mainland

Contract: 3 months to start, with strong potential for permanent conversion

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 24–32 hours/week (Tues–Thurs, 8-hour days)

Your New Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Specialist to support our Finance team with a balanced focus across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced tech environment, brings strong organizational skills, and is comfortable working independently in a remote setting.

Your new Responsibilities

• Process a 50/50 split of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks
• Set up and manage recurring revenue invoicing, including managed services
• Review and double-check invoice accuracy and completeness
• Assist with project-based accounting support
• Provide support during year-end close and reporting processes

What you will need to succeed

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on accounting (AP & AR) experience
• Solid understanding of debits vs. credits
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience using accounting software (QuickBooks Online is a strong asset)
• Fast learner with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
• This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be based in British Columbia’s Lower Mainland for compliance and potential in-person team engagements.
