Job Opportunity: Staff Accountant

Location: Kingsville, Ontario (working out of our Kingsville office)

Melo LLP is seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Kingsville, Ontario. This role offers a great opportunity for an aspiring CPA with significant potential for growth at Melo LLP.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, prepare, and execute compilations, review, and audit engagements.
2. Prepare financial statements including appropriate note disclosures in accordance with Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE).
3. Prepare personal and corporate tax returns. Collaborate with the client engagement team to discuss roles and responsibilities, risk areas, materiality, and deadlines.
4. Work under tight deadlines, delivering quality work, and resolving client issues in a timely manner.
5. Work closely with clients, managers, and partners to provide exceptional client service.
