Job summary

Hammond Power Solutions (HPS) in Canada seeks a 9 stacking position responsible for stacking, packing and assembling core and coil components of various sizes. The role involves following established methods and may require careful, limited-action decisions.

Key duties include adding core laminations and mountings as specified, blocking and squaring core and coil, performing mechanical welds, and applying transformers manufacturing knowledge to production.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform mechanical welds.
• Must have good knowledge of methods and techniques used in the manufacture of transformers.

Our department 9 stacking position, Stacks, packs and assembles core and coil of various sizes. The main duties include- -

Full-time Hourly Starting Rate - $27.73

Shift and Premium Pay Available:
$1.00/hr. – Afternoon shift premium
$1.50/hr. – Dedicated trainer premium
$3.00/hr. – Shift advisor premium

Full range - $27.73 - $31.51 – as per the collective agreement
