Sr. Traffic Operations & Safety Engineer

What you will do

Lead or assist in analysis and design efforts including:

• Road safety reviews and audits, collision analysis, network screening, and data analysis.
• Design of traffic operations devices and facilities such as pavement markings, traffic signals, management plans, and active transportation facilities.
• Development of policies, technical reports, and client communications.
• Project management tasks including proposals, task delivery, supervision of junior staff, and contributing to team culture.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with 10+ years of experience in Traffic/Transportation.
• P. Eng. designation with PEO registration.
• Proficiency with transportation modeling software such as Synchro, VISSIM, AIMSUM, AutoCAD, and GIS.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, manuals, and standards including the Ontario Traffic Manual and Highway Traffic Act.
• Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills. ITE Canada membership is preferred. Valid Ontario G2 driver’s license required.
