The Genesys Global Security, Privacy & Compliance COE (Centre of Excellence) team comprises Security, Privacy, and Compliance experts providing support to all key stakeholders, including sales, pre-sales, customers, partners, prospects, and external auditors. The team is the sole contact for all security, privacy, and compliance engagements, including consulting, architecture support, audits, and contractual security terms.
This team operates within the Genesys Cloud business unit.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for all security, privacy, and compliance engagements related to the Genesys Cloud solution.
- Participate in and lead discussions with partners, prospects, customers, and internal teams on security, privacy, and compliance topics, including policy explanations, controls, processes, and evidence presentation for Genesys Cloud Services and Corporate.
- Assist with customer-requested security audits and assessments, collaborating with global and regional teams to ensure timely completion.
- Support Genesys teams and partners by establishing a strong security understanding and equipping them with necessary skills.
- Primarily support North America but also assist the global COE team with other security, privacy, and compliance engagements as needed.
- Contribute to internal global projects aimed at scalability and success, such as creating compliance documentation, presentations, demos, and best practices.

Must Have Skills
- Empathy, passion, energy, and a proactive attitude.
- Hands-on experience with DevSecOps.
- Basic AWS security knowledge (IAM, KMS, etc.).
- Understanding of security threats and mitigations related to Generative AI models in enterprise SaaS.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, IT, or related field, or relevant certifications.
- Good knowledge of AWS and supporting technologies.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, networking, and application security (firewalls, OAuth, SAML, etc.).
- Proven experience as a security engineer for cloud-native SaaS solutions.
- Team player, adaptable, capable of multitasking, and willing to travel.
- Ability to work independently and detail-oriented.
- Flexible and adaptable to various work environments.
- Align with team and company standards.
- Goal-oriented with self-discipline to complete tasks on time.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Willing to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
- Ability to work at a computer for 90% of the workday.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience in penetration testing of cloud-native SaaS applications.
- Experience in customer experience or contact center industry with SaaS.
- Hands-on experience with Genesys products in operational, professional services, or pre-sales roles.
- Vertical experience in Security, Privacy, or Compliance (Finance & Healthcare).
- Knowledge of AI in customer service.
- Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Fluency in written and spoken French.
