Position: AI Solution Architect / Partner

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term (12+ Months)

About the Role

• Iris is seeking an experienced Lead to represent Iris and lead our delivery team on a client
• initiative focused on building modern, AI-first capabilities for Commercial and Corporate
• Banking. This role will drive the design, architecture, development, and testing of solutions
• that integrate with existing applications, services, and data to simplify and elevate the
• experience for key personas such as Relationship Managers (RMs).
• This is a client-facing leadership role requiring both strong technical acumen and deep
• familiarity with the commercial banking domain.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary Iris representative and point of contact for the client initiative.
• Lead a cross-functional Iris team spanning architecture, design, development, and QA.
• Translate business and user needs (of RMs and related personas) into AI-native product
• capabilities.
• Guide technical architecture and integration decisions across existing banking applications,
• services, and data sources.
• Own delivery quality, timelines, and stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Partner with client stakeholders to shape roadmap, priorities, and success metrics.

What We're Looking For

• Strong understanding of the Commercial/Corporate Banking domain, including typical RM
• workflows, tools, and pain points.
• Experience with, or exposure to, the capabilities and systems commonly used by commercial
• Solid technical background across architecture, application design, and development (hands-on
• or hands-on-adjacent), with working knowledge of AI/ML-enabled product capabilities.
• Proven experience leading technical teams through full project lifecycles (discovery through
• delivery).
• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and driving structure/clarity for a team and client.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with AI-native or AI-assisted product builds.
• Experience integrating with legacy or enterprise banking systems.
• Background in consulting or professional services delivery
