Job summary

Iris Software Inc. in Toronto is seeking a Sr. SDET Engineer (Software Development Engineer in Test) for a long-term opportunity in a hybrid setup in downtown Toronto, ON.

You will lead automation efforts across API and UI testing, build and maintain test frameworks, and work within Agile teams. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of automated testing experience with Python, Java, or C#, strong knowledge of Robot Framework, Pytest, Behave, Selenium, and cloud familiarity (Azure/AWS).

Qualifications

• Knowledge and working experience in Agile methodologies.
• Experience in CI/CD/CT methodology.
• Experience in Test methodologies (7+ years).
• Familiarity with Azure/AWS (preferred) or any cloud service(acceptable).
• Familiarity testing and interacting with data stores (both relational and non-relational): SQL, MongoDB, Postgress.

Job Title: SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

Duration: Long Term (Open-Ended SoW)

Location: Downtown Toronto, ON (Hybrid Position)

Automation Skills:

• Experience with Automated Testing (10+ years)
• Ability to code and read a programming language. Python (preferred), Java, C#
• Experience in ROBOT, Pytest, Behave, and Selenium (Python)
• Must have developed test automation frameworks
• Experience in API automation (must), UI automation
