Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager, you will take a key leadership role in managing complex and varied construction projects. Responsibilities include:



  • Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to implement effective project controls that ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance.


  • Preparing, negotiating, and administering contracts for consultants, contractors, and specialists, including handling endorsements, modifications, and change orders.


  • Overseeing consultant performance and reviewing drawings, specifications, and workmanship to align with project goals.


  • Facilitating site meetings with subcontractors and professionals to proactively address challenges and resolve conflicts.


  • Tracking project budgets, managing change orders, and supervising on-site operations to maintain control over cost and performance.


  • Supporting schedule development and updates while contributing to contract negotiations.


  • Managing payment applications from clients and subcontractors, reviewing shop drawings and samples, and resolving technical queries related to project documentation.


  • Identifying and resolving issues during BIM coordination, ensuring timely correction of deficiencies and execution of project changes.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10-15 years of experience managing ICI projects within a General Contracting setting, with a strong history of successfully delivering high-profile projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Skilled in using project management software and related tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline; PMP certification or equivalent credentials considered an asset.
