Job summary

Aspen Technology is seeking a Sr. Professional Services Project Manager to oversee project execution, profitability, and customer satisfaction within the Digital Grid Management unit. You will manage large-scale projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years in project management, international experience, and fluency in French and English. Travel up to 20% and experience with JIRA and MS Project are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience in engineering, business, finance/accounting, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in project management.
• International project management with cross-cultural understanding.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
• Experience dealing with highly technical and complex projects.
• Project and business leadership.
• Experience with JIRA and Microsoft Project.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Electric utility industry and/or automation/SCADA project experience preferred.
• Experience with electrical utilities or automation systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and/or oversee the development of project plans and schedules.
• Manage the contract change process as needed.
• Coordinate project implementation plans.
• Identify risk and implement effective mitigation plans.
• Manage project budget, financial forecast.
• Ensure that projects are properly tested, approved and documented.
• Set the strategy for projects based on the business unit's priorities.
• Manage and determine timelines, priorities and resources for the project.
• Assist in setting up partnerships and alliances with vendors.
• Participate in sales demos and customer meetings.
