Job Description

Primary Job Duties:

A Senior Project Engineer with at least 10 years of experience is needed to lead and manage a cross-functional team in designing, developing, and implementing Aircraft Environmental Control System electronic products within specified constraints and resources. The role involves managing team efforts to meet program cost, schedule, and performance goals and providing technical authority for assigned programs. Responsibilities range from managing development projects to supporting the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Engineering Support and Customer Support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate design and development activities to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Manage program scope, schedule, cost, technical aspects, resources, and risks, maintaining detailed plans and estimates.
• Oversee the product definition process from requirements to production, using IPDS methodology.
• Track and report program progress, costs, and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Serve as the focal point with internal departments including Supply Chain, Quality, and Contracts.
• Manage technical interactions with customers and suppliers.
• Lead customer design reviews and technical coordination meetings.
• Support proposal development for ECS Controls Product group growth.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of engineering experience in aerospace and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Science, or equivalent; PEO eligibility.
• Knowledge of program management, earned value reporting, and scheduling tools.
• Experience with aerospace electronics, controls technologies, and Environmental Control Systems is a strong asset.
• Understanding of aircraft systems and components.
• Experience with software development processes and DO-178B.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to define and meet customer and project requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Focus on customer satisfaction and technical excellence.
• Strategic thinking and growth planning skills.
