The Amazon Alexa International team in Toronto is looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive the expansion of new Alexa-powered devices and experiences in Canada. Key job responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
• Define the long-term strategic vision and roadmap for the Alexa Canada experience
• Identify market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities to drive the growth and expansion of the Alexa Canada experience.
• Translate the strategic vision into actionable plans and lead cross-functional teams to execute on priority initiatives.
Product Management and Delivery:
• Own the end-to-end customer experience for the Alexa Canada experience across Echo, FireTV, and additional endpoints.
• Analyze user feedback, identify gaps, and define feature enhancements to continuously improve the Alexa Canada experience.
• Track the launch project through every step from the review of the experience, to the approval of packaging, beta testing review, presentation to the leadership and finally the launch to our customers
• Oversee the successful delivery of products and experiences to market, working closely with various stakeholders from technical teams to marketing, business development, quality assurance, engineering, localization, legal and PR to build the best experience for your customers.
Business Optimization and Growth:
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market landscape, customer needs, and competitive dynamics in Canada, across English and French locales
• Partner with Customer Service teams to deeply understand customer experience and feedback of our users with our products. Articulate and provide input into feature prioritization and product planning. Own and be the champion for voice of the customer.

A successful candidate will possess strong technical acumen along with deep expertise in leading complex projects across multiple teams. You love to dive deep into the technical detail of a feature to find opportunities to improve its quality. You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, not hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. You have excellent verbal/written communication skills and are comfortable talking to Senior Leaders. You are data-driven, highly analytical and have a strong sense of building the right things for customers. You are able to drive high-level strategic initiatives, as well as roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.

The Alexa Canada team’s mission is to deliver products and services that are delightful and locally relevant for Canadian customers. We work across an Alexa International organization, looking to scale Alexa globally, while advocating for the unique needs of Canadian customers. We work on everything from product launches and feature expansion, ensuring that we deliver strong Canadian experiences in both English and French. The Alexa Canada team is an essential part of helping customers feel that Alexa is a trusted companion in their daily life and the Product Manager is a key pillar in reaching that goal.
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience owning technology products
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
