Sr. Product Analyst, Store Solutions - Brampton, ON

Canada's largest food retailer is looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join an Agile team environment to be a key technical resource for enhancing, maintaining, and supporting Loblaw’s Point of Sale system across our organization. You will help lead and manage by assisting with production development and identifying break/fix opportunities as well as ensuring availability and stability of the application.

The successful candidate will work for the Senior Manager, Stores Delivery responsible for supporting 1000 + store systems running SwedaMart POS, providing an optimal and seamless experience. You will work alongside a cross functional team of technical and functional experts to assist in the continued improvement of the POS solution.

What you’ll do:

  • Design new features/enhancements as prioritized by technology and business teams.

  • Collaborate with diverse agile teams (i.e. Infrastructure, Information Security, Privacy, Site Reliability, Business and Vendor partners) to assist with the implementation of complex innovative features.

  • Identify and diagnose deficiencies related to systems, coding and infrastructure and recommend creative solutions for mitigation

  • Assist with deployment schedules and communications to our end users.

  • Assist and review test cases and testing results of new and upcoming changes.

  • Manage and help maintain backlog in Jira

  • Create store release notes based on new enhancements and fixes from vendor.

  • Working alongside vendor support team, provide prompt and efficient support in managing and resolving incidents related to stores. This also includes reviewing KBA’s and offering input and feedback to improve our support teams response time.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience working in large, complex organizations with a focus on retail preferred.

  • Experience working in a retail store is preferred and/or Understanding of both customer and cashier experiences.

  • A deep understanding of security and compliance measures, coupled with the ability to address incidents swiftly, maintaining a secure and reliable platform.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a good sense of humor to foster a positive work environment.
