Position Summary :

The successful candidate will support our discovery program by developing therapeutic and diagnostic radiolabeling processes and ensuring the supply of materials. They will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enable the supply of radiolabeled compounds for preclinical experiments.

Responsibilities :
  1. Develop radiochemistry processes and formulations.
  2. Create analytical testing methods to characterize research batches.
  3. Produce, test, and supply radiolabeled compound batches for preclinical evaluation.
  4. Transfer radiochemistry and testing methods to team members and external partners.
  5. Train colleagues and partners on radiochemistry processes and provide technical support as needed.
  6. Prepare and deliver presentations for meetings.
  7. Document laboratory activities, develop reports, manuscripts, and patent applications.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Requirements :
  • BS/MS in organic chemistry, chemistry, or related field with 5+ years of radiochemistry experience, or a PhD in organic, inorganic, or radiochemistry.
  • Ability to work independently with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proven project prioritization and timeline management in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Preferences :
  • Experience in a radiochemistry environment.
  • Hands-on experience with imaging radioisotopes (e.g., F-18, Ga-68, Cu-64) and/or therapeutic radioisotopes (e.g., Lu-177, Ac-225).
  • Experience with quality control testing of radiolabeled compounds (radio-HPLC-MS, radio-ITLC).
  • Knowledge of environmental health and radioprotection standards.
  • Familiarity with automated radiosynthesizers.
  • Understanding of GMPs and relevant regulatory guidelines.
Physical Demands / Travel :
  • Up to 20% travel domestically and internationally; valid passport required.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 kg.
  • Use of safety shoes and protective equipment in the lab environment.
  • This role requires onsite work during the workweek.
