Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada is seeking a Sr. IDMC Developer to design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using Informatica IDMC and IICS. The role requires hands-on PowerCenter experience and strong SQL on Oracle/MS SQL, with Agile team collaboration.

The candidate will translate detailed specs into ETL processes, build data sources, dashboards, and KPIs, and support testing and production troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ETL development experience in large IT organizations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and at least 2 years with IICS/IDMC.
• Design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using IICS and IDMC.
• Translate detailed specifications into ETL process design and development.
• Analyze, design, develop, test, and document ETL processes following industry best practices.
• Strong hands-on experience in SQL with databases such as Oracle and MS SQL.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data processing and reporting.
• Build data sources, reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support business needs.
• Work with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to understand requirements and design data solutions.
• Perform unit testing and support SIT/QA and production troubleshooting.
• Use scripting languages such as VB, Shell, or Perl to support ETL processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams including developers, architects, and business analysts.
• Prepare design documentation, review artifacts, and provide training and support to users.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Bitbucket.
• Excellent communication, client management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems and deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Requirements

Salary Range - CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 110,000 Per Year
