Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking a Senior Software Developer - ETL for a 2-month contract in Toronto. You will design, migrate, and optimize complex ETL/ELT pipelines, bridging legacy data systems with Informatica IDMC and cloud data services.

You will lead hybrid onsite work (3 days in Toronto), tune PL/SQL, create scalable data warehouses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data assets and well-documented deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, developing, and supporting enterprise ETL processes and dimensional data modeling.
• Proven experience with Informatica PowerCenter (v10.2) and Informatica IDMC.
• 5+ years writing complex Oracle PL/SQL procedures, packages, triggers, views, and functions.
• Deep experience in root-cause analysis, SQL query optimization, and performance tuning for scalability.
• Hands-on cloud data services experience, especially Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Server.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub, JIRA, and Azure DevOps for CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, automate, and maintain robust ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines using IDMC and PL/SQL.
• Migrate legacy Informatica PowerCenter mappings and stored procedures to cloud environments.
• Extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into dimensional data warehouses.
• Perform performance tuning and root-cause analysis on complex SQL queries and scripts.
• Translate business requirements into fully tested data integration solutions with documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for unit testing, debugging, and validation.
