Job summary

Astra-North Infoteck Inc. in Toronto, Canada, is seeking a Sr. IDMC Developer with deep expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, IICS and IDMC to lead complex ETL initiatives for large-scale data platforms.

Sr. IDMC Developer – Informatica, IICS, SQL & ETL

Key Requirements & Responsibilities

• 8–10 years of overall ETL development experience in large IT organizations.
• Minimum 5 years of strong hands‑on development experience with Informatica PowerCenter and at least 2 years with IICS/IDMC.
• Design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and IDMC.
• Translate detailed specifications into ETL process design and development.
• Analyze, design, develop, test, and document ETL processes following industry best practices.
• Strong hands‑on experience in SQL with databases such as Oracle and MS SQL.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data processing and reporting.
• Build data sources, reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support business needs.
• Work with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to understand requirements and design data solutions.
• Perform unit testing and support SIT/QA and production troubleshooting.
• Use scripting languages such as VB, Shell, or Perl to support ETL processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional Agile teams including developers, architects, and business analysts.
• Prepare design documentation, review artifacts, and provide training and support to users.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Bitbucket.
• Excellent communication, client management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems and deliver high‑quality solutions.

Must be eligible for Reliability Status Clearance (Minimum 5 years residency requirement).
