Position Overview:
The Senior Forecast Analyst is responsible for analyzing and maintaining the system sales forecast, a key input into organizational planning processes. The ideal candidate should have advanced knowledge of retail forecasting and experience with SAP forecasting systems or other leading platforms. The analyst will ensure forecast completeness and data integrity, aligning with the corporate S&OP process. They will collaborate with cross-functional partners to determine sales forecasts for new articles and events, and maintain F&R system parameters that drive automated forecasting and replenishment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Workday and Workforce Management: Maintain the Forecasting & Replenishment system for all products within assigned areas.
- Reporting: Provide key reports to Inventory Management, Merchandising, Logistics, and Senior Management.
- Data Analysis: Review and analyze historical data and trends to forecast demand for import and domestic goods at Store/Distribution Centres.
- Project Management: Monitor sales performance and adjust forecasts accordingly; track KPIs regularly.
- Partnering: Communicate product status updates to stores and DCs; liaise with Merchants to ensure execution of S&OP processes.
- SAP System Management: Maintain SAP forecasting and replenishment parameters; identify process improvements; serve as SAP super user.
- Team Leadership: Coach junior analysts; share product flow knowledge; solve inquiries.

Qualifications:
- University or college degree in business, science/engineering, or supply chain management (preferred)
- Experience with SAP or similar forecasting systems in retail or manufacturing
- 3-5 years of analytical experience in retail, focusing on forecasting and inventory management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative approach
- Business acumen, problem-solving skills, result-oriented
- Self-directed with limited supervision; flexible attitude
- Proficiency in MS Excel; ability to present data in PowerPoint and Tableau (assets)
- Bilingual in French and English (assets)
