Position Overview:
The Senior Forecast Analyst is responsible for analyzing and maintaining the system sales forecast, a key input into organizational planning processes. The ideal candidate should have advanced knowledge of retail forecasting and experience with SAP forecasting systems or other leading platforms. The analyst will ensure forecast accuracy, data integrity, and alignment with the corporate S&OP process, liaising with cross-functional partners to determine sales forecasts for new products and events. Additionally, they will maintain F&R system parameters that drive automated forecasting and replenishment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Workday and Workforce Management: Maintain the Forecasting & Replenishment system for all products within assigned categories. Provide key reports to Inventory Management, Merchandising, Logistics, and Senior Management. Review historical data and trends to forecast demand for imported and domestic goods at stores and distribution centers.
- Project Management: Monitor sales performance and adjust forecasts accordingly. Track KPIs weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually, including store and DC performance. Manage forecast parameters and exceptions for stores and DCs.
- Partnering: Communicate product status and updates promptly. Collaborate with Merchants to execute category S&OP processes. Maintain SAP forecasting and replenishment parameters. Identify and recommend process improvements. Serve as a SAP Super User, updating parameters based on sales data.
- Team Leadership: Coach and mentor junior analysts. Share product flow knowledge with cross-functional teams. Resolve store and DC inquiries.

Reporting Structure and Travel:
- Reports to Manager or Senior Manager, Supply Chain.

Minimum Education and Experience:
- Degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or related supply chain field preferred.
- Experience with SAP or similar forecasting systems (retail or manufacturing) is an asset.
- 3-5 years of analytical experience in retail, focusing on forecasting and inventory management.
