Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experiences in a fast-paced Finance environment.
• University degree in Business or Finance; CPA designation would be an asset.
• Excellent analytical and investigative skills with ability to identify root causes across Financial/Merchandising systems.
• Strong knowledge of query and data applications including Teradata SQL and SAS; SAP knowledge is required.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Access, Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
• Experience with tools such as ChatGPT, SAS, Teradata SQL, Excel/Visual Basic would be a strong asset.

Overview

Franchise Costing team is responsible for ensuring costing integrity for all franchisees and Affiliate Independent customers. This position provides the opportunity to work closely with Merchandising Categories, franchisees, and Data Operations to execute promotional costing programs, analyze and resolve costing issues, and maintain costing accuracy across LCL systems.

Accountabilities:

• Execute promotional costing program for Franchise community
• Build strong relationships with Category, Finance Operation and Franchisees to facilitate the timely understanding and resolution of costing inquiries
• Analyze daily billings exceptions to identify root causes, recommend corrective actions and communicate data integrity issues and resolutions to business partners
• Develop measurable analytics to accurately assess promotional cost support implications and program effectiveness
• Make connections and build strong, collaborative relationships with business partners
• Proactively learn, understand, and apply business processes to support effective costing analysis and issue resolution
• Assist in SAP system testing relating to costing processes and system enhancement

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant work experiences in a fast-paced and challenging Finance environment
• University degree in Business or Finance related discipline; Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation would be an asset.
• Excellent analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to identify root causes and resolve issues across various Financial and Merchandising systems
• Strong working knowledge of query and data applications including Teradata SQL and SAS; SAP knowledge is required.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Access, Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Experience with application and analytical tools such as ChatGPT, SAS, Teradata SQL, Excel/Visual Basic, etc. would be a strong asset.
