Job summary

Rightsline is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team in a hybrid Toronto environment. You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, translate financial data into actionable insights, and help shape the company’s growth and resource allocation.

You will build budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions. CPA/CFA in scope; 4–6 years in FP&A preferred; strong Excel and AI tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or related quantitative field; CPA or CFA required.
• 4–6 years of progressive FP&A or finance experience, preferably in high-growth SaaS/tech.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into insights.
• Proficient in AI tools and Excel; able to build robust financial models.
• Lifelong learner and proactive, collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

Salary Range: CA$100,000.00 To CA$110,000.00 Annually

The Position

Rightsline is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our high performing FP&A team. This role will act as a trusted advisor to leaders and help shape the future direction of the business. You will dive into the detail to drive financial insight, support resource allocation, and enable data-driven decision making that advances Rightsline's growth, resiliency and innovation.

As a member of the FP&A team, you will go beyond reporting the numbers. You will interpret them, challenge assumptions, and translate financial data into action. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this role is critical in linking financial performance to tactical and strategic outcomes, ensuring business leaders have the insight they need to make informed, forward-looking decisions.

You will gain direct exposure to the Executive team as well as to members of the deal team at Hg Capital, our majority owner.

We are looking to fill this role in a hybrid environment in Toronto.

What you will do:

• Serve as a finance partner across the business, understanding the deep financial and operational detail to provide insights, challenges, and recommendations at a tactical level.
• Influence resource allocation, investment prioritization, and trade-off discussions with clear, data-backed perspectives.
• Build financial plans and dynamic models, including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Deliver thoughtful analysis of financial results and key performance drivers, translating them into concise, compelling, and actionable insights for leaders.
• Drive improvements in FP&A processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and the impact of insights delivered.
• Partner closely with Accounting and non-Financial Operations teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment of financial information and metrics.

What you will bring to the role:

• A degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent work experience). Hold a CPA or CFA designation.
• 4-6 years of progressive FP&A or finance experience, ideally in high-growth SaaS or technology businesses.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a very quick and detail-orientated thinker with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
• Strong proficiency in using AI tools and Microsoft Excel; experience building robust models that distill detailed planning down to clear presentation outputs.
