What You’ll Be Doing
The Sr. Director, Operational Excellence is responsible for leading the Alternate Solutions Group within Capital Markets Technology. you will lead technical teams that support critical applications across the group. Requiring a deep understanding of Support Operations, DevOps, QA automation, Environment Management and Performance Management. The position involves strategic planning, budget management, and continuous improvement of engineering processes, while also providing mentorship and leadership to technical teams.

How You’ll Succeed
- Strategic leadership: Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to technical teams and engage in achieving strategic goals for DevOps Engineering, Environment Management, Automation, Operations, the Department’s overall stability and efficiency. Contribute to the short- and long-term strategic roadmaps for the department’s performance, stability, and efficiency goals.
- Execution: Engage the planning and execution of ASG’s DevOps engineering roadmap, and QA automation roadmap. Track and meet KPIs for efficiency improvements across the department, especially in the areas of DevOps, Environment management, Change Management, and QA Automation.
- Technical guidance: Lead incident management and present root cause analysis. Develop, improve, and present operational metrics and documentation. Provide input and follow-through for continuous improvement.
- Relationship Management: Mentor operations team to improve service availability, scalability, security, efficiency, and performance.
- Manage compliance and audits: Participate in audits, regulatory reporting, root cause analysis, incident mitigation, and incident prevention. Evaluate, coordinate, and approve changes to the environment, focusing on quality.
Who You Are
- You are a seasoned technical leader. You have 10+ years' experience in leading, overseeing and managing technical teams. You have at least 5 years of Azure DevOps experience, coupled with at least 10 years of automation experience. Strong knowledge of application delivery processes, Change management oversight, governance frameworks, and compliance standards.
