Job summary

Rogers Communications in Toronto or Brampton is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join the Enterprise DevSecOps Engineering Team. Working from Toronto or Brampton, you will shape build and release systems across the enterprise to empower our digital presence.

You will collaborate with Cyber Security, Cloud Infrastructure and application teams, bringing hands-on Java/Python, Linux (RHEL) scripting, Groovy pipelines, and modern CI/CD tooling to deliver secure, scalable deployments.

Qualifications

  • Experience with public cloud infrastructure and solution design concepts (AWS, Azure, Google).
  • Hands-on experiences with Java and/or Python, with proficiency in at least one.
  • Hands-on Experience with Linux systems specifically RHEL including scripting.
  • Working knowledge of Groovy as a pipeline scripting language.
  • Experience with CICD tools like GitHub Actions, ADO or Jenkins.
  • Experience with SCM like GitHub with knowledge of branching and release concepts.
  • Experience with Application security and code quality tools like SonarQube, Xray.
  • Hands on experience with AI Platform like GitHub copilot, Claude, and knowledge of emerging AI capabilities.
  • Experience in working with distributed teams situated locally or globally in different geographies.
  • Flexible and adaptive, team player with excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, take ownership on the deliverables, prioritize work and well organized.

Who We're Looking For

We are currently seeking a Sr DevSevOps Engineer to join the Rogers Enterprise DevSecOps Engineering Team. Working from Toronto or Brampton office, you will work with the Enterprise DevOps team, Cyber Security, our Cloud Infrastructure team and application teams across enterprise to shape the build and release systems that will empower our digital presence.
