Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Business Planning Analyst (Contract) to deliver impactful financial insights and support strategic decision-making across high-visibility projects. You will collaborate cross-functionally to develop customized reporting tools and data models influencing high-level strategies. Responsibilities

• Support managers with ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling; create and distribute reports that clearly communicate business performance, financial processes, and KPIs.
• Conduct research on business and macroeconomic environments to analyze performance, initiatives, and strategic cases.
• Identify areas for process improvement and assist in implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and results.
• Develop scenario plans for business initiatives, assessing financial impacts and analyzing competitor strategies using key financial metrics.
• Prepare presentations for senior executives on financial and business planning initiatives, providing supporting materials for decision-making.
• Lead or support ad-hoc projects as required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a related quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting).
• Working towards or holding relevant business designations (e.g., CPA, CFA, MBA).
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in financial planning or data analysis.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including analysis features, VBA, and Macros.
• Experience with Oracle, TM1, Hyperion, Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate; knowledge of DAX is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in written and verbal form.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively, handling multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Innovative, solutions-oriented, and passionate about quantitative analysis to drive business results.
