On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst (Salesforce Implementation) to join our Client's team on a Contract basis. This role is Remote and the Client is based in Vancouver, BC.

Summary of the Role:

The Senior Business Analyst will support a Core CRM implementation project and contribute to a broader enterprise CRM initiative. Working closely with stakeholders, the delivery team, and Salesforce experts, the successful candidate will help shape scalable solutions that meet organizational needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Elicit, document, and refine business and functional requirements for Salesforce implementations.
2. Translate complex business processes into Salesforce features using standard capabilities.
3. Develop user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria; support test planning and UAT.
4. Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure requirements are accurately delivered.
5. Manage new Salesforce releases by conducting fit-gap analyses and implementation planning.
6. Act as a liaison between functional and technical teams for interface and application changes.
7. Analyze cross-platform institutional data and design solutions to address data quality issues.
8. Provide subject matter expertise to support CRM strategic planning and business alignment.
9. Lead testing and validation for custom or third-party software related to Salesforce solutions.

Core Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience delivering Salesforce implementation projects.
2. Salesforce Business Analyst certification.
3. Proven experience translating business needs into functional Salesforce solutions.
4. Demonstrated capability in process mapping and documentation.
5. Familiarity with test planning, UAT coordination, and change management support.

Desired Skills & Experience:

1. Experience in higher education or public sector environments.
2. Familiarity with Salesforce Education Cloud or industry-specific solutions.
3. Experience with complex enterprise systems and multi-system integrations.
4. Knowledge of institutional data platforms such as SIS and Workday.
5. Understanding of security, scalability, and integration requirements.

Terms:

This is a 9-month contract position. The role is 100% remote with no onsite requirements, though the candidate must be available to work during Pacific Time hours. Reference checks will be required prior to an offer being made.
