Job summary

BeachHead Inc. is seeking a Sr. Angular Front End Engineer with Azure DevOps expertise to lead enterprise DevOps modernization for a major banking client.

You will drive Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise migrations, build scalable CI/CD pipelines, and establish IaC, cloud security, and observability practices across Azure-based apps and data workloads. Can you lead the modernization of enterprise DevOps and cloud delivery?

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for aSr. Angular Front End Engineer- Azure DevOps/Banking to lead DevOps engineering across Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise. The successful candidate will support Azure-based application and data solutions, drive Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise migration initiatives, and establish scalable practices for CI/CD, infrastructure as code, cloud security, networking, monitoring, and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support migration initiatives from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise, including repositories, pipelines, permissions, workflows, and deployment processes.


• Plan, validate, and execute migration activities while supporting cutover and change adoption.


• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and reusable deployment templates.


• Establish standardized workflows, automation frameworks, deployment governance, and DevOps practices.


• Deploy and support Azure solutions for web applications, APIs, data integration, data engineering, and analytics workloads.


• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and release processes using infrastructure-as-code practices.


• Support environment setup, production readiness, deployment health, and ongoing platform reliability.


• Embed security, access control, governance, and compliance considerations into DevOps and cloud delivery practices.


• Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and operational observability.


• Apply cloud networking principles, including segmentation, routing, private connectivity, and secure communication.


• Contribute to backup, recovery, resiliency, and operational support practices.


• Lead technical discussions, document architecture decisions and processes, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.


• Mentor team members and influence the adoption of consistent engineering standards.


• Support the modernization of technology platforms and contribute to informed technology decisions.

Desired Skill-Set

• At least five years of relevant DevOps engineering experience.


• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise.


• Strong experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.


• Expertise in GitHub DevOps, source control strategies, pull request workflows, and release governance.


• Experience enforcing policies and DevOps standards through workflow automation.


• Experience defining reusable deployment templates and workflows.


• Demonstrated experience leading or supporting migrations from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise.


• Strong knowledge of migration planning, validation, cutover, and change adoption.


• Strong experience deploying Azure-based solutions for web applications, APIs, data integration, data engineering, and analytics workloads.


• Deep understanding of Azure deployment patterns, environment setup, and production support considerations.


• Ability to support end-to-end delivery across application, data, and platform services.


• Hands-on experience with ARM templates, PowerShell, Azure CLI, GitHub CLI, or similar automation tools.


• Ability to design repeatable and scalable infrastructure deployment models.


• Strong understanding of Azure identity, secrets management, access control, and private connectivity.


• Experience with cloud networking concepts, including segmentation, routing, and secure communication.


• Ability to integrate security and governance into DevOps and deployment practices.


• Experience implementing logging, monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and operational observability.


• Familiarity with backup, recovery, and resiliency practices.


• Strong stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and communication skills.


• Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor team members, and influence engineering standards.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document processes and architecture decisions clearly.


• Strong attention to detail, patience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
