Definity is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Financial Planning & Analysis to drive value realization across the organization, tracking the financial and operational impact of strategic initiatives and enterprise programs with a focus on current and future M&A activity.

You will support enterprise-wide reporting, prepare synergy models, and develop analyses for baselines, targets, and actuals, while assisting with quarterly forecasts and annual planning.

Qualifications

• Completion or working toward CPA designation.
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• 3+ years experience in Finance.
• Experience with value realization, synergy tracking, enterprise program reporting, or post‑merger integration is an asset.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling tools, and PowerPoint.

The Opportunity

The Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis, is responsible for supporting our comprehensive value realization framework across the organization. Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, this individual will track and report on the financial and operational value delivered by strategic initiatives and enterprise programs with a strong focus on current and future M&A activity.

Salary Range: $73,500 - $123,500

High degree of proficiency with English required to service customers, both internal to the company and external, across Canada

Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors include but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market.
