Role: Sr. AI Developer

Location: GTA

Role Synopsis: Our client is establishing an Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence (AI CoE) and is seeking a Senior AI Developer to help shape the future of its technology landscape. The successful candidate will be an experienced full-stack developer with strong expertise in .NET, Azure, SQL, and modern web application development. The role will focus on designing and developing innovative AI-powered applications, integrating artificial intelligence into custom-built solutions, and delivering applications that support both internal corporate teams and external customers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AI application development, large language models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and modern AI-assisted development practices, including vibe coding. The position offers an exciting opportunity to build new solutions rather than focus primarily on legacy application maintenance or technology migrations.

Core Technical Requirements

• Strong full-stack development experience using ASP.NET/.NET, SQL Server, Node.js, Angular, and modern web application frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React and/or Next.js, Node.js, Python, and contemporary web development technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Databricks.
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating AI-powered applications into custom business solutions.
• Practical experience with large language models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI application architecture.
• Strong understanding of modern AI-assisted development practices, including vibe coding.
• Ability to work across the full application development lifecycle, with a preference for candidates who have a strong front-end development background.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs, translate requirements, and deliver appropriate technical solutions.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong full-stack development experience with ASP.NET/.NET, SQL Server, Node.js, and Angular.
